I have two nearby fav restaurants: The Peasant & The Pear and RÊVE Bistro. And I have four strategies: #1 dine out #2 takeout from fav #3 cook dinner at home #4 takeout on another night next week
Since I’ll be in Solana Beach Ca. The day after V-Day I may plan to visit one of my favorite dining establishments for a special treat. Possibly choose between Herb & Sea in Encinitas or Juniper & Ivy in SD.
Truth be told, I tried to make a reservation at one of the restaurants I wrote about and it was booked. And takeout was booked already, too! So I'm hardly a roll example here. Found out yesterday that one huge chocolate company reports a shortage of chocolate because of a lack of labor and supplies. As for flowers, I'm on that trail right now. So, I'm moving faster on V-Day priorities right now as I'm sure others should too . . . .
Whats your strategy for an at home experience with take out this special? Do you re-plate and heat?
I'm not keen on eating cold (or hot) food out of a box. I am keen on eating a delightful warm meal on a favorite plate . . . .

Well, there goes my marriage! I have to sent this to my husband. He's waaaaayyyyy behind you!
Would be so honored to be with you and your sweetheart!
I’ll fly my bride out to California and treat her to one of these great restaurants.
