"The PB&J sandwich is the first food experience I remember. My mom used Smucker's strawberry or Welch’s grape jam during my early childhood w/ Skippy PB on white bread (crust cut off.) But at some point my she introduced me to the Hellman’s mayonnaise, lettuce and PB on Pepperidge Farm whole wheat bread combo. Pure heaven. And then there were the peanut butter and bacon on toast Sunday nights….PB rules!"
Our son just started liking PB&J’s (finally!), which rekindled my love for them too :))) Enjoyed reading the history of it all!
