I love your updates, and your new kitchen sounds like it's going to be wonderful! Can't wait to see photos when it's done. We need a new fridge, so I'll be curious to hear how you like your new Bosch. In the meantime, you're doing a wonderful job of finding creative ways to eat. Do they have El Pollo Loco near you? We love their crispy chicken tacos, and always stop at the restaurant when we visit California. I enjoyed the celebrity pet names you shared, and thought you might smile to know that when I was three years old I was allowed to name my family's new cat: Omelet.
Fish tacos, my friend. FISH TACOS--if you can find a place that does them well (probably not a fast food joint, though I could be wrong about that).
Love this newsletter! Congrats on getting your new oven in and operational. That first sandwich sounds swoonable.
A friend from long ago had a Mastiff she named Kuma for Kumamoto oysters. They were small. He was huge!

Can’t wait to see what you cook once you have a fully functional kitchen. On your next Costco run, get the dry roasted pistachios. They are the best!
You're doing something right, my friend. My mouth is watering.
