That was such an enjoyable read that I am late walking the dogs! Thanks for a deliciously mouth-watering post... and, yes, I am a chips addict but my next bite will be so much more considered from now on.
Fun piece, Christy. You don't know this, but I, too, am a potato chip freak. I got one bag at the office and two at home right now. My all-time favorites are Old Dutch, but can't get 'em in South Carolina. I've moved on to Ruffles with Ridges, a reasonable second choice.

Thanks for the kind words!

Well, I'm happy for you having this particular vice but I'm so sorry you don't know of the wonders of Fisher's!
Yow, potato chip history! I never realized that potato chips were more American than apple pie. Thank you for the education!
You are sweet to say that!
Potato chips rule the world! 😉
Dang it, now I want some! 😂
Love the potato chip history!
I’m a Zapps fan myself. First had them when a bag was left for us in our Airbnb in New Orleans. A big convert since then. Crrrrunch.
Well bless his heart….
You are forgiven, my friend….
We were there with Bett McLean and Doug Renfro! Doug ate far too many of MY chips.
