Jean Claude Tindillier, once the chef at Chouette in Minneapolis (l), and I toast to dinner cooked by me for him at my house in the 1970s—one terrifying experience! He has passed away but I’ll never forget how much he taught me. He was surely my human yoda among all the experiences I’ve had that weren’t human.

“What’s For Dinner Tonight?”

If you are in Italy, I understand about all you ask someone each day is the first question. If you are in the U.S., we may too, for we’re all forced to think about what we’re going to eat for dinner more than 350 times in a year. No wonder we’re searching the internet, newspapers’ food sections, food magazines, and friends’ ideas constantly. Come join us while exploring moments of merriment on the highways and byways of food and drink . . . .
